DJ Hire is the DJ-focused division of DerekJay Productions, a professional entertainment services company. Our primary focus is on the delivery of top class DJ services to any event or function, corporate, public or private. We are based in Northern Johannesburg and operate across South Africa, as well as many bordering countries. To date, we have been of service as far north as Mozambique and as far west as Cape Town.

At DJ Hire, we pride ourselves in providing only the best in experienced, professional entertainers and using top-end industry standard sound, lighting and audio visual equipment. DerekJay Productions is owner-managed by Derek Jansen and Jacky Dannhauser. Derek has in excess of 8 years experience in the entertainment industry, having started off as a mobile DJ, then moving into the radio and club fields. Jacky has 11 years experience in the industry and is a specialist in wedding entertainment. Jacky ensures the smooth running of all events and will be your central point of enquiry.

As a guide, our pricing ranges from R2500 - R4500 per event - This includes a professional DJ, sound, lighting and PA equipment. Factors which influence the quoted price include venue, times, number of guests and the date (we have discounted winter specials).
